Arrow Question on temperature shown on dash

EDIT: ...outside air temp was showing too high of a temperature. Sensor is located in correct location.

Who changed the cluster? And what temp are you talking about, engine or outside air temp?
I see 154F outside air temp and 90C engine temp.

I use an ultra gauge and I see about 185-190C engine temps with the AC on, and up to 203C with the AC off in hot tropical temps.

babyboigsxr you already know I'm located few miles from you. Today my car only read from 89-101F outside temp. Maybe you should check your ambient temperature sensor.

You should be able to see the sensor protruding through the left lower bumper grill. Usually when you see +142, or -40 your sensor/wiring has a problem. Check for proper installation first though.

Dealer changed the cluster years ago.
I apologize for the confusion. I, myself was confused too when I typed out my explanation. LoL. Good thing you called it out.

Yeah. I'll definitely look into that.

From the last few times I've checked, it's mounted correctly in its appropriate position.
