Has anyone tried to Weistec IC Pump? It has similar claims as the Johnson pump such as "50% more flow", and it is direct bolt on with just some wire stripping. The Johnson and the Weistec pumps are the same price around 150. Wondering if anyone has installed it and how good it performs.

Johnson pump stinks. It pushes a lot of fluid, but only if there's low pressure. In high pressure situations (such as intercooler pump), it's performance plummets and the factory Bosch 010 pump performs better.

more flow doesn't always equate to cooler temps, if you push the fluid too fast it doesn't get time in the intercooler to cool down so you can be pushing warm water... bigger intercooler first, then see if the problem exists

I don't have any problems with my pump yet, however, I do drive it hard every now and then and want to make sure my pump doesn't go out. Wonder what the best all around pump is. I've heard much praise to the updated Bosch 010 pump.
