If you use a dremmel to open up the inlet on the y-pipe to fit over the 82mm throttle body would a o-ring be needed? I had to grind mine in order for it to fit over the 82mm tb, but I didn't put any sort of gasket. It did fit snug and was a pain to finally slip on.
