guys with kleemann headers
Hey guys just installed some kleemann headers and I notice a hissing sound when I accelerate like air leak ?could it be a leak or since it passing more air threw thats why it sounds like that ? When I rev it cant hear it or when car is idling. thanks

I would check for cracks at the weld. I think they are of "not so good" quality, the current cheap ones.
They were better when they were made by a german company for Kleemann years ago.

I did inspect them before installing them every weild every inch of it they seemed good..bbut just dont know :/ ..ddo alot of people complain about the us ones ?

Not even a lil szzz noise ??iI was serching some say its normal some say its not im gona chek the flanges make sure there tight ...mmy friend is a mechanic he installed them ..aand he made sure it was thigh woth correct torque ..

Especially with stock mufflers, you can hear the exhaust gasses passing through the primaries at lower RPMs. Could be described as a "hiss". Stock manifolds insulate this sound. If they were loose they would tick when cold.

Just spoke to cory and he said as long as its not a ticking sound I should be good ...the the stock mani has double wall and muffles alot of valve noise and exhaust ..there is more air rushing through them headers that make that woshing sound ..so yeah I now belive its normal im going to double chek anyways thanks everyone

Never had a problem I've had two sets of Kleemann headers, just doublecheck all your work and make sure everything is sealed up and tight.

Yeah I don't have that ticketing sound is just like a whoosh sound and Cory and some of the guys here confirmed that it was normal ..check your header bolts ..
