March Moddnesss . Installing the latest batch of toys .
Time for the 82mm throttle body, new top pulley, belt wrap and custom intake . Going to do a bit of paint work under. The hood while I have it apart too. Looking forward to getting it back together and going for that first test drive.
I hadn't really thought about it . I'll sell it for a decent price ,if not I'll hang onto it incase I ever sell the car I may put it back stock and sell the motor mods separately . If you need it PM me a fair offer.
I sprayed the supercharger matte graphite. I smoothed the castings on the surge tanks and shot them graphite , now it's time to tape up the AMG letters and spray the the blue body color so they will be blue with the graphite lettering . Fabrication should be complete on the custom intake today then it will be ready to paint as well. This started out as me just planning to paint the exterior of the car but it seems to have snowballed from there to more engine mods and engine bay dress up. Also have new mufflers on the way and I'm designing some custom LED's that I'm going to fabricate for the front bumper since I haven't seen any out there that are what I want . The Wald ones seem a bit plain for the price so I'm trying to come up with something that compliments the E63 bumper better.

Yeah, the SL63,is one I'm trying to buy but I can't get the guy to come off of it lol . I hope your thumb was already busted and that didn't happen from my car

Should be done with yours tomorrow. They sent the wrong couplers. Got the mounting brackets figured out and I polished one set of the tubes today. Your not gonna want to put the wrap over these beauties. It would be like covering your Rolex with aluminum foil lol. These welds and this polish finish is going to look so good that you probably won't even want to run a hood on the car. haha

Here are a couple of pics of the first custom intake we finished fro Shifters car . The 3 and 1/2 inch piping and 4in inlet and outlet filter canisters are massive and fit great. Unfortunately , we ran out of the piping before getting the last two tubes made for my car. I just finished this tonight and Shifter may be changing some colors under the hood but you get the basic idea of what they look like.
