Anyway, I am a fan and will be looking for an E63 or an S63 sometime soon (Love the CLS but I am too tall for it). I search online here and there just to see if the right one pops up and if it does, I have 2 people just waiting for me to sell my e55! But I must say...I really like my 55!

I will say you are correct and it might cost a hair more. I can tell you that there is an e63 2014 with renntech tune running around with our little race crew and I am trying to get out there when I have my e55 to run him. I know with in .2 what my e55 will run and very close mph so I can report back when it happens. I ran him with my V and...fugitboutit.

Being a V guy, yes this will be a cool car and it will be fast with some mods but $90k plus ttt and some work to trap 'that'!? $110k! I was assuming that Berti was looking for used stuff under that price tag! Just a guess!

I will not be looking for any new V's anytime soon, that I can tell ya! lol Maybe I'll be looking for them...but NOT to buy!

Actually they both have mid pipes and exhaust and more. I actually spoke to a former tuner from RT last year in depth about tuning etc and he was truthful in saying that nos was used on many cars and hidden. He went as far to tell me they had a button sewn into the steering wheel.

I saw sgc at the track when I ran and he was running an E63 tuned by RT and wasn't any where near 10s

2005 E55 Wagon
Wait for the next generation ctsv. More bang for the buck and upgrades are more cost effective.

I know of a Manual 2015 ZO6 with a ported SuperCharger, 2.31 pulley,1.875 Headers, modified Airbox, e85 flex fuel kit, 1.5 gal tank for extra coolant & tune which add up to about $6k in mods resulted in a 9.87@138. Owner has trapped 140+. I figure duplicate the mods and although ithe CTS-V is heavier I could see low 10's@132-135

As a current ///M owner and newly acquired AMG, I will admit I'm switching over my ownerships to all AMG with the exception of my E36 Estoril M3 Coupe.

Having visited Affalterbach two years ago and meeting the infamous Michael Kubler sold my desire to be a part of the AMG family.

CLS63 Bi-Turbo is such a beautiful vehicle. It's a more solid built machine than the F10 M5 in my opinion. While the M6 GC is sexy, the quality is superior on the AMG vehicles.

My former 2006 E60 M5 is no match to the W211 E55 I replaced it with. Hell of a V10 engine and decent looking chassis, but that's really it...

Drive both and you'll know...Keep in mind that I'm hearing over on the BMW forums that M5's are breaking Diffs/brackets, etc... with too much power...
