If you are having belt slip issues, you'll see belt dust on the pulley.

Been reading the comments, I feel like some people are looking at this kit really negatively. I just installed mine on Sunday afternoon and the butt dyno feels a difference. There's much more consistent power delivery throughout the powerband and each run feels as strong as the last as long as the engine is at relatively the same temperature. Either way, I got mine because I plan on getting a Supercharger Pulley in the coming weeks so this was in preparation for it.

her is what most folks do not realize with any wrap kit or idler that is bigger, you can dyno a car now I have done this before and have 0 belt slip. on the street while the car is shifting the tensioner can bounce causing you to lose boost. This kit does its job bottom line. Once again on any product from shardul, wrap kit stall convertor, pulley, clutched or fixed, they are all great products. all the haters contact the companies that make 1800 dollar carbon fiber cold air kits that take advantage of the Mercedes crowd and have 0 interest in performance.

It's not hate, just easy examination of the actual numbers provided in the OP.

His before and after trap speed are nearly identical. It's universally accepted (since the beginning of drag racing) that if you are making more power from one run to the other, you will see an increase in trap.

We could debate this all day, but until someone does a series of logged runs with and w/o the kit, it's merely speculation. The basic info here says one thing but a logged test may say another.

I bought the BWK simply understanding that it will provide consistent boost in the upper RPM...nothing more. This mod will not give you anymore power..it only provides more belt/rubber to the pulley...

I was pretty happy when I put mine on. The difference was immediately apparent. I dont have any stats to prove anything but the subjective feel was an increase in boost with the motor feeling tighter and pulling stronger. Definitely a worthwhile mod.

I like my wrap kit.

The SC belt tensioner on these cars gets weak and needs to be replaced...even with a BWK.
