Question Transmission issues! Need Help

My friend has a 05 E55 with 105K miles. He started to have some issues with his trany when the car is cold. He says, He puts in R and pulls out off his garage the car is fine but when he putts it in the D to get going he noticed hesitation, it will not engage the gear immediately, it takes a few seconds before car goes in gear. He sad he replaced trany fluid just recently but he sad the issue was there before and its still there after the service. Any suggestion what it could be?
Thanks!

Conductor plate and the harness is a good start. Common issues. I had mine replaced and it was night and day.

I have looked into it and the info i got that conductor plates need to be replaced by MB dealer only. Is that true or could an indy do it?

I did mine just following the guidance give by a tutorial on Youtube. It's fairly easy, you just need to be cautious when manipulating the valve body. Doesn't have to be installed by a dealer.

BUT, a dealer or anybody that has a stardiag will have to reset the codes.
