2003 E55 W211 - no power to wheels after retune
I've trawled through a few threads but couldn't find this problem apologies if it's elsewhere and thanks if you can point me to it.
I'm in New Zealand and have recently installed UPD s/c pulley, belt wrap kit, (thanks @Shardul) and had a custom retune. Also rear mufflers and secondary cats deleted, K& N filters installed. Dyno'ed at 560hp flywheel (475 rwhp). So far so good.
BUT within 24 hours completely lost go forward, ie car slips out of gear and has to be turned off and on to get a brief period of in gear drive. Trans fluid was changed for Mercedes Benz new fluid (seen that in another thread). Car effectively dead in the water, but after reset will be driveable so long as you don't accelerate hard, which is quite difficult and nerve wracking.
Errors and error codes include:
ESP failed
Speed implausible for gear/ gear slipping
An SBC error - and similar sorts of traction/brakes issues.
Gearbox seems (?) to be ok. A Merc technician is working through codes, but the last time we only drove 500m when it all fell over again. Tuning guy is also on the case, but I'd love to hear from anyone else who can point me in a more certain direction. Or at least eliminate some angles.
Thoughts? Thanks.

Speed sensor
Thanks for the tip. Looking for speed sensor I found this thread which certainly sounds similar.

Only other bit of relevant info (maybe) is that after some investigation with the workshops doing the dyno, it sounds like they weren't using dyno mode, just ESP off. Wondering if that has stuffed something up.

Been there done that! I know the feeling bro it sucks, had I known that this was a known issue, I would of never bought an 03... But after you fix it no worries.. Good luck
