Not sure what you mean. That is how I feel. The NTG 2.5 is amazing.
Although, I checked the prices OP and the head unit is still very expensive. With that and the prices for the harness and other components I would just look for an 09 and pay a little extra. I bet the 09s will depreciate a little less too.

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
Mostly cosmetic and from memory:
E63 has....
New tail-lights
New pointed front bumper
Redesigned headlights (slightly)
Black headliner as opposed to grey
Both front seats slightly diff
Keyless go shifter completely different. Not chrome button like on 55, circular button too!
Gauges black background as opposed to white background on 55
Steering wheel !!! Very nice upgrade. Something you see & touch constantly!
Paddle shifters of course!!
I'm sure other things
E63 has....
