Finally got the fabrication of my intake complete and made the time to paint it and install it.

I like how you painted the front cover. It makes the s/c seem longer.

Thanks guys . Yeah, it's the. 82mm throttle body . A buddy of mine owns Sage 6 Motorsoports here in Jacksonville and he fabricated the piping . We used three and a half inch pipe so it's a tight fit. I decided to go with the the body color rather than the polished just to do something different.

I like it!

I was thinking something similar extending the look of the surge tanks. Nicely done.

Looks heaps better after painting the pipes

Do you have any sound clips or drive bys with this on

I have the exact same setup to go on mine (same size pipes, same filters) but I just need the 3.5" Y Pipe fabbed up

Have you done any logging with this on

Also what are you using to join up to the radiator inlets, do you have 3.5" 45's with cut offs of the original plastic inlet pipes?

No sound clips yet. I have some throttle body valve issues I've got to sort out . Hoping to get some dyno time in next weekend of the following week . I did open up the plastic on the shroud as much as I could .I did try making scold start clip and some revving in neutral but the video clips didn't do it justice . The car is LOUD . I'm going to drive it a while then determine my next move . I might add a couple of Racing Bullet resonators down the road. It sounds so good but the only thing I have between the C63 mufflers and the Kleemann long tubes I headers is 3 inch pipe the whole way and an x pipe. It definitely sounds mean .

Stage 6 does some killer work on Jeep SRT8's i'd love to see them get into the E55 market, I am pretty sure harrison at Stage 6 is running a 1/4 mile in the 8.9's in a JEEP!!!!!!!

Looks great

I'm interested in the connection to the front inlets too. Any close up pics of that area would be really useful

Yeah, Harrison was running 9.1's then he shaved a little more weight and got into the 8.90's. I believe it the fastest one in the country that is still running the all wheel drive. The thing is ridiculously fast . Going for a ride in that thing will have you grinning from ear to ear every time.

Harrison hasn't been up there much and he's about to leave for a family vacation. Give Henry a call if it's something you want to get anytime soon. I still miss my Jeep.

Superb

Where are the air filters located? To the side of or behind the HE?

Nice. They are definitely fun to own. With the custom exhaust, it's was one of the best sounding vehicles I've owned. I keep trying for a similar note from this E55 but last week I added C63 mufflers and with having no cats or resonator I went from too raspy to loud as f**k lol. Probably gonna have to put some sort of resonators on it before my neighbors kill me.
