Service D pending in 2 days...
so I'm trying to decipher what Service D means - other than 4 hours of work
I looked up the codes on the ECU and found Service 1,4,9,12,14
which are these?
You'd think I'd understand this by now....

I sad just about to post something similar. I have E service, with about a dozen codes. I know the items to do, however they aren't straight forward and I'd like some clarification. I'll find the service sheet for yours though (US spec)

ok so it seems
1: check wheels, brakes - those are good already
4: replace dust filter - assuming that's my K&N?
9: check bodywork and chassis load bearing parts and replace brake fluid
12: oil change
14 (big list but seems like stuff my SA always checks): check leaks, aux-battery, v-belt, hood latch, fluid levels in brakes, power steering, check wipers, saftey-belts, reset service indicator, parking brake check, tires check, brake pads, tire air pressure, leaks, axles, rubber boots, battery test)
so I pretty much only need to do the brake fluid - whew! LOL

Count yourself lucky that so much information is available for those cars in U.S. Spec. I have a few codes to do, but in my service manual it has a couple of them doubling up - replacing spark plugs twice, air filter twice, and it is also asking for my fuel filter (which in australia says it is 250km/15 years), however I'm only at 130/9 so unsure why it is asking for it! The problem I face is that the service manual is written for all E class cars, not just the 55. So, I'm thinking other cars have replaceable filters, and maybe it is just an odd code to throw?
I'm buying ZT 2 gear next week so should help with determining if AFR are okay and that I'm not leaning out due to starvation at least.
