Weistec tcu tune offer

Hi all.
Got weistec tcu. It spins 7000 rpm in manual mode and wont switch gear on its own. 6800 rpm in S and C. Shifts are a lot quicker.

I would trade it for a meth kit, new or used doesnt matter, as long as it works. Or i could sell it.

That is way too high. 6700 is where the limit should be if you raise the limiter

No not a custom tune. U can upshift at 6700 😀
Sure. I would sell it for the price of the meth kit😀😀

I think they set the TCU rev limit higher so that it doesn't interfere with whatever the engine tuner chooses.

I've wondered about the tcu vs ecu Rev limiters and I believe it's the tcu that actually sets the limit for shifting. The ecu limiter only stops the car from reving higher up the rpm range.

I have a ecu and tcu tune done by EC. I kept hitting a Rev limiter under wot in 3rd. Jerry raised my ECU rev limit up higher (by about 200rpm) and the car shifted at the same rpm, but no more limiter bumps

Hell I would even trust the E63 engines to rev that high all day over the E55

Clk dtm is very different 580 plus hp byilt on a C class chassis for example amd costs well over $200k. I am pretty sure the valve train was well modified to rev that high, just like the chassis was to handle that well
