Break pads ?
Looking into getting some break pads as mine have about 20% left. Curious to see what everyone is replacing theirs with? I would like to get some that are low to none dust pads.... Thanks

Lol I see what you've done there. As long as they're 'grippy'
Just slapped on some Akebonos yesterday. Obviously it's a different compound mix over stock and handles brake heating better & not subjective to fade as stock when powering down from high speed runs. Mostly all Oem brakes will have GREAT initial bite. I've ran bono's on other performance cars and been satisfied.

Try RacingBrake ET500 for performance street, XT910 for HPDE and spirited driving.
Our pads are guaranteed to be low dust, no squeaking and with excellent initial bite and modulation.
Please read this review and learn why RB brake pads kept this SL550 owner and other MB owners happy.
Racing Brake makes me happy
In fact RB brake pad has become more and more popular within MB community since we start bundling the brake pad with our two piece rotors.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Any ideas for a pad that bites like hell? I really could care less about brake dust. I'd rather have no fade (yes, I track my car on road courses).

I'm of the same mind. I just cannot bring myself to sacrifice stopping power for aesthetics. I just bought centrics 104 series pads. $50 for pads all around. I'm sure they'll wear a lot faster than ceramics, and I'm sure they'll dust an awful lot. But the return is in rotor life and brake performance.

Before I purchased my Ake's I was strongly after those (lesser version). But with daily duties in mind, I stayed true to intended use. No need wasting away a good pad in traffic grind. You'll want to check out the XP Series (10+). My buddy runs this on street but MAINLY ON road course (NJ Motorsports speedway) with great results. Rotor friendly as well.
I also use Ferodo DS2500 compound on my JZ Supra which has a Brembo BBK all around 6/4. Aggressive over the Ake's & streetable. Good for hard spirited driving & hwy runs hault which is what that car is for primarily.
To others looking for pads, be true to intended use.
