Q16 or MS109

Q16 or MS109
What are the differences between em? What does everyone use here? Getting tuned for race gas next week and need to decide between the two? Help me out fellas, thanks.

So then you prefer ms109? BIP will be doing the tuning, heading down to ga as they haven't yet tuned for the 90mm so Jason asked me if I would let them try it on my car, so of course I said yes lol

Ms109 is probably a better overall fuel than the Q16 for these cars. Q16 has 11% oxygen and MS109 is 9% so tune wise they are close. I decided to go the Q16 route for when I sprayed the car and the extra safety with the 120+ octane. I mixed the Q16 with another VP fuel called CHP that's for stock car racing and the car picked up on that over straight Q16. We don't really need the super high octane fuel. FWIW I think we were running 22-23 degrees of timing

I will only be using the race gas for when I do go to the drag strip, so won't be running it all the time but I am looking into the nitrous if it doesn't add up and get me into the tens. So for now ms109 I guess I'll try that and see how it works.

Stick with unleaded racing fuel. Q16 is for big boosted engines in dedicated race cars. MS109 works better with our applications.
Before I took my car to the track. I ran a mix of MS109 and pump gas. Initially I was planning for 50-50. But, I had a feeling the car would like more of the MS109 unleaded race fuel. So, I ran about 75% of MS109 and the rest pump gas.
The car loved it. GL
