I have the same setup 19 -8.5/9.5 and agree on the ride quality MEH!
The choice on tires is not as good and @ 50 bucks more/each.
Like what was said = looks vs ride quality. They are heavier than aftermarket as well, if you find a set check for the hairline cracks, a known issue.

There is no W211 option or variant version of these wheels since they were never made for the W211.
These AMG style IV multi-piece wheels in sterling silver came with the Performance Package option code 030 on the SL55, CLS55, CLS63, and SLK55. They came standard on the SL65, CL65, and S65 in titanium grey. The CLS wheels has the more aggressive offset with the widest 10" wide rears.
SL55 19 x 8.5 front ET30 & 19 x 9.5 rear ET31 (sterling silver)
SL65 19 x 8.5 front ET30 & 19 x 9.5 rear ET31 (Standard in titanium grey)
CLS55 19 x 8.5 front ET25 & 19 x 10 rear ET28 (sterling silver) *attached AMG pamphlet showing 9.5 rears is a misprint, they are 10, confirmed by AMG PL*
CLS63 19 x 8.5 front ET25 & 19 x 10 rear ET28 (sterling silver)
SLK55 18 x 7.5 front & 18 x 8.5 rear (sterling silver)

Hey Havoc, great info there, it seems like based on this mercedes benz brochure, the wheels in question are actually offered for the W211 E series under the E series wheel accessories page
as seen in the picture above:
only question I have is on the benz accessories pages they ALL have a serial code starting with B yet on my wheels I see codes starting with A211 and A171, are the wheels suppose to have the code starting with B as well? confused about that....

Those Style IV wheels on the brochure you found are from the SL class 030 because it has the SL class specific off-sets. You will never find an E55/E63 that came with that specific style wheel from the factory. Those wheels are exclusive to the 030 Performance Package which the E55 never had.

I have read where the E55 overseas had individual performance package options listed under the code 099. Options included LSD (30%), speed limiter 300km/h, another programming of the gearbox (hold function), and Alcantara steering wheel inlays. No changes in suspension or wheels were offered that I read of..
I know this holds true with some SL55 and SLK55 that were not 030 cars but did have one 030 option like the two-piece front brake rotors..

Here are mine:
Part numbers A2204001502 and A2204001602. Fronts are 8.5x19 et44, rears are 9.5x19 et40. I believe my wheels came off an S55. I am running 255/35 and 275/30 tires. Also have 20mm rear spacers. No rubbing whatsoever. My front end is lowered with the washer method.
And just so there is no confusion:

Are you those 18s?? Wow they look really good.
I went from stock to 20s. hated them. 19s better, now thinking about going back to 18s for more ride comfort.

1. According to the brochure, 10 inch rears never came on the SL, only on the CLS. So maybe the set that I have is not original to the SL? I bought the wheels off someone who bought the SL55 from a used dealer a few years ago. He did not change the wheels since he bought the car.
2. I know there is a super rare version with 10.5 inch rears (I've personally seen one set for sale). Where do those come from?
3. I've seen posts of someone posting part numbers for optional wheels 2114001402 19x9.5 and 2114001202 19x8.5 (apparently NLA). I've never seen a 211 come stock with these wheels and don't know of any performance packages available for the E55, but these seem like they are for the 211 looking at the part number?
