here's a good video i used to do mine.
took me multiple tries until i realized that when i looked at my car's stored date/time on the NAV screen, it was showing up as 1976 for whatever reason. so setting my next inspection for 20 (2020) was not doing the trick. changed it to 80 (1980) and it worked perfectly

Anyone knows how to change the date ?
I changed it once from the commaned under SERVS menu, but recently after connected to SDS date is 1976 !
Can't change the the date anymore as its greyed out in the command unit and doesnt show in the instrument cluster.
