LOL and +1.

I had my 06 e55 for a year now and other then regular maintenance items and the cost of the upgrades, it has not given me any issues. I feel like it is a roller coaster ride everyday. so much fun. I always get great comments about the car where ever I go. However, I know this is a special car with special needs. AMG is a status and not everyone can handle it.

I have my 06 E55 for 6 years... (was not cheap) so far regular maintenance. I changed the water pump 3 years ago when I was installing the Header. Other than that, regular stuff like valve gasket seal, engine mounts, battery, spark plug, tranny service.... same as any other car. I guess the OP get rip off from dealer or his mechanic...

Yes naturally! Sorry my brain ignored parts of his post. When someone complains about cost of maintenance on a 100K car...I wonder why they bought it in the first place.

Btw guys I don't want to make anyone sad but I just did a 500 KM ride with my ancient automobile....and it cost me quite of bit in gas...should have taken the jetta...and not hurt the multiples mustang / audi / bmw owners feelings on the way down.

Oh boo hoo! Boo hoo! Did you think you were buying a budget car? A Camry? Call me when you get your Aztek. That's an appropriate vehicle for you.

2014 cls63 a amg. 2018 AMG GTR
My only real complaint with the car is the airmatic that can leave you stranded or worse when it fails. Wife's Porsche doesnt bottom out like that rendering it useless/dangerous when its air suspension fails. Wish I had spent the $1900 on coilovers when I first bought it. Besides that great car and an amazing value. Bought with 59K miles now has 88K miles. Have beat the hell out of every part of the car. One bad ball joint, one failed strut, replaced fuel pumps. One brake job........ Pretty freaking sweet for only a $17K buy-in over two years ago.......
