Which crank pulley is reliable vs junk?

Im thinking of getting a crank pulley, I was told either a 168 or 172 given my current mods since 180 would be putting my motor at MAX. However, I hear Renntech and ASP make the best quality without risking them flying off but they're also $1000, anyone also recommend a good one for a more reasonable price?

That's about the going price. I picked up my 180mm ASP pulley for $900.

Shardul sells one for 850 with a pin kit. I wouldn't run one without it pinned.

Why not just get a SC pulley?
Less weight, easier to install and less risk.

I meant installation is most important thing with a crank pulley. Most often pulleys fall off because of bad installation.

I've yet to hear of a single failure of an evosport crank pulley. My car had one installed by the original owner 9 years ago at 20k miles. Now has 86k . Its a 180. I noticed a few used ones for sale on eBay recently.

Google how to pin the crank pulley. If you don't want to do this, you should not install a pulley.

My car has had a Renntech pulley fitted since the day it left the dealership. 62,000 miles later it is still going strong.

Supercharger rpm specs say that is like moving from a 168 to a 180 crank, which is a 2.4psi increase.

I remember your post. You have a good set up. With your mods you can run a large crank pulley. 190+. You can add a 175 to 178 in be in the same range as a 190-95 crank pulley. Keep in mind 99% of the people with a 84mm sc pulley don't have the cooling and fuel mods you have. I would go 172 atleast. But a 175-78 would put you where you should be. BUT I wouldn't run that boost without pinning the pulley. Don't even consider it. So if the thought of drilling a hole in you crank makes you feel sick then just change to the 77 mm clutched.
