Standing half mile
Ocala, FL and I believe it was in like Jan?
Bad DA and Humidity really kill 1/2 mile runs even worse than 1/4 mile runs as I am sure you all know!
I am sure it will not be a problem but as you know, weather and your iat's will be the defining factor.
This is a timed event in Maine? I would go to check it out probably! I believe that 1/4 mile is the real deal and that is what most of us gauge our cars by but if it isn't too far from me then I would give it a shot with centerline if he would go. Which I am sure he would.
MASSIVE DIFFERENCE no doubt!
Troll...PERFECT! LMAO...smart man you are!

Maine is not a timed event. They only give you MPH at the 1 mile and 1.5 mile marker. If you car gets approved to run in the Super Car class you are limited to 1 mile and 175 MPH passes with the required safety equipment. Other street car class requirements are much more strict at slower speeds. Traction is a huge problem. At the Spring event this year, I couldn't go full throttle until 80 MPH without wheel spin. I live about 1 Hr north of NYC and it was an 11.5 hr trip towing the car, counting a meal and stopping for fuel. It probably would have cost me the same and taken less time attempting it locally event counting spending a night in jail. I chose to go the legal route. Needless to say the hotel didn't have a stainless steel toilet and my wife didn't call me Buba.
Vasilys E63 4WD tuned from GAD-Motors did 170,88 MPH = 275,01 KM/H in the half-mile 30/05/2015. Very fast...
One year ago, when his E63 was Renntech/VIP stage he did 162,65 MPH = 261,62 KM/H in the half-mile 01/06/2014.
here is the link to the HALF-Mile results:

at the top of the page you can search for 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, mile and 1000m (in russian language)

Anyone that makes vbox claims can upload their vbox file to http://vboxverify.com/ , it will make graphs and show if the run is legit or not, it will measure slope or if gps signal was interrupted. This is the way vbox makes sure there are no fakes on their 60-130 times or 1/2 or 1 mile runs
Other than Chawkins and few 600/65 platforms......who here has ACTUALLY ran the 1/2 or mile race? Hell......how about at sea level? This entire thread is based on speculation. I state it is harder than some clowns think and you guys are getting twisted that I'm questioning it?

Do you remember when you and I got into it about 200mph in the mile? Have you run the mile yet? Who else here has run the mile since the meltdown thread that everyone was talking sh*t in? Nobody? All talk?
160 mph in the 1/2 with a factory blower and no giggle will not happen.......period. Sea level or above.....it's not going to happen. It's possible on different boost configurations, but that too hasn't happened.
I will leave this were it lies and wait for the big sh*t talkers to back up their assumptions with results. No harm, no foul.

i don't really care about 1/2 mile runs and I thought my 1/4 mile times would shut some people up but they seem to keep yapping so I looked back at some vbox logs to see how much distance it took me to get to 150mph from a standstill.
For reference 0.5 miles = 804.672 meters... So those of you claiming 1000 meter times as 1/2 mile, you're giving yourself almost 200 more meters to run than 1/2 a mile
My car hit 150mph in 431.87 meters. Meaning I have another 372+ meters to travel before hitting a 1/2 mile. And the same **** talkers struggle to hit 150 in a 1/2 mile with a laundry list of excuses. 17psi, no nitrous, full interior. No excuses
I'm sure the haters will still have something to say but anyone in a clear state of mind can see the numbers speak volumes.

If I were you I'd make a pass first see what's what before you put the d/r
I think the heads were ported on this run. Right? Were the heads ported on the calculated 160.2 mph estimate? Just curious. Regardless, some good trap speeds.

What all is done to your car? An E55 was at the track with Kleeman headers, 190mm, stock s/c pulley, under hood ice box, and was trapping 120 mph. I was impressed.
