Yes, for a SL55. My best on a tune with my S600 was 149.8. There were 3-4 E55's when I went and they were 145-152 range and they were heavily modded. One had a prototype whipple at low boost and I think he was around 152.

I should go 10.30's this year in my V and I can tell you that cntrline is so close behind me when we race now that I strongly believe that he will go like high 10.50's at 131mph. Now, my car doesn't get hot (I am on E85) and cntrline has been at the track with me and watched me hot lap 3 runs in a row and go faster on the 3rd run...what's my point you ask? I run good upstairs because of low IAT's but he runs as good and probably better! If I ran him from 100mph to 180mph I believe he would either win or we would tie because he pulls on me slightly from 120mph to around 140mph when we get out of it. On behalf of this highly classified info. I believe that he would get that 160 mph mark in the 1/2 mile!
Let me explain that the mph came from his VBOX...Now for all the doubters, listen up...his vbox records his runs in the 1/4 mile at 130mph (give or take a 1/2 mph) and he runs exactly that in the 1/4 mile at Atco race track... we also ran my car on the vbox and it too was exactly on the money with my car recording me at 133mph and that is just about exactly what I run! So, this being said, it is accurate. The 1/4 mile elapsed times aren't too close because of the traction issue we have but it is set up so perfect that the mph is incredibly accurate. Keep in mind that we have done these tests numerous times as we have both been to the track 3-4 times each. Bottom line, any intelligent person can see that these figures are accurate and it is a great way for us to see what gains we have actually made.

wind? temps? heat soak? please don't confuse calculations to real world.
adding 8 mph to the best M113K 1/2 traps would take a hell of a lot. as of yet, it hasn't been done. lol

I went 155mph in my e55 at the September 14 wannagofast event in Clayton GA as a FYI.
Centerline, what event was this and do you know what the DA and humidity was?

We had a sl63 bi turbo at our last wannagofast this past month. It has weistec upgraded turbos and makes 725rwhp/835rwtq on a dynojet. He went 160mph with DA at 3900 and 88% humidity as a reference point.

I simply asked a question , and that's my VBox run from yesterday, I'm at sea level really,65 deg maybe,50 % humid, 30.19 pressure,
For comparison my VBox reading from my 10.77 run at 130 at MIR was 11.24@130.3 on VBox that was dead hook ,0 roll out programmed in
I didn't say I was at an event ,
I really don't know much about bi turbos ,weistec or dyno jets ,I do know a little about my car though
RBJ get out that V Box

1) add more weight to that current sl platform
2) take away 2 gears and remove some transmission efficiency
3) remove some hp and torque
4) remove efficient breathing turbos and add a parasitic blower
5) add a touch of higher IAT's.
just saying.....

Sounds about right. I ran a 7.3 on a 10.75 run and a few 7.0' and 6.9's on the street. I Believe it ran a 6.6 or 6.7 on a nitrous run. Your car is hauling the mail! Congrats

brother, i have raced many mile and 1/2 mile events in the past 5 years. it would take @750+ rwhp....with our transmission....to get near 160 in the 1/2. period.

After Chalkins response it seems you're a little off! I just don't know why the VBOX would be accurate in the 1/4 mile trap speed and not the 1/2 mile trap speed? I am certainly not a pro in this by all means but it is evident that you aren't either!
Seemed like a great run with your AMG and according to EREBUS you're the world record holder! lol
Anyway, I will check to see comparison 1/2 mile times and try and come up with a ballpark. We ballparked the 1/4 mile mph on the vbox before ever going to the track with centerlines car and we estimated it right on the money!!! That should mean something I would think! So, why would it be so far off now when doing a 1/2 mile? Hopefully we can get to a 1/2 mile event and see sometime soon.
