Found small tire damage on sidewall, severe enough not to drive on? opinions?

Found small tire damage on sidewall, severe enough not to drive on? opinions?

Hey is it ok to be driving with this small tire damage? please see pic. It is a michellin a/s 3 tire, opinions would be appreciated, it doesnt seem severe to me but just wanting opinions as im not sure of michellins technology on its sidewalls

If you don't see any belts when you pull back the flap of rubber you should be ok. Just keep a eye on it for a bubble. It appears that you only damaged the "rim protector" part of the tire and not the structure.

Get some of the tire glue for leak fixes and patch it on the inside. it looks fine. It really isn't that large. I would say if it is holding air you should be fine. If it is on the front tire you should take cornering easier until you feel like replacing it.

I wouldn't worry for daily driving. I'd probably stay out of the triple digit speeds and spritzed driving though. If a tire gets damaged in anyway on my car...it gets replaced no questions asked.
