Rear height sensor location?

Could someone help me please. Star is telling me my rear height isn't responding so I bought another rear height sensor, now I can't find where it's at on the car and I'm hoping it doesn't attach to the spot where something broke in the pictures that I noticed while under the car

Hopefully this will finally fix my problem with the rear sitting on the ground -_-

The differential cooling fins are what broke off.

It is just in front of the differential. It's not obvious and it's a little bit of a reach but not too bad. There is a rod that has a swivel joint on each end that connects the ride height sensor to the car and moves in relation to how much weight is in the car. Look up lowering links to see what the rear rod looks like. It has kind of an "S" shape to bend around suspension and exhaust

Anyone have experience changing this sensor? I'm pretty sure mine is bad. Car thinks the front suspension is at 80mm and the rear is at 120mm, but the car is sitting on the bump stops in the rear.

I fixed my issue, the linkage that connects to the level sensor had come loose. I popped it back on and all is well again. Thanks for your replies!

hi, my car is mercedes benz e280 avantgarde 2006. - replaced the gas spring a month ago, but after a few days it stopped gassing again, but it doesn't show any error on the dashboard. could this be related to the balance sensor. one of them went down, but it doesn't show any error
