I'm looking at an 04 e55 and needed some opinions. It is a 1 owner fully maintained at dealer from new. Silver/black leather. Some small mods. Has 165k on the clock though. Per me talking with the owner it needs nothing and just had the fuel tank replaced at MB dealer along with fuel pumps for the recall. Had SBC recall in 05 as well per mbusa.com vin check.

What would be a good price for this car?

hard to say but guessing 10-12k,, its probably worth that in pieces -- 6k gets you a 2004 excellent condition honda civic

Car just came out of dealer servicing and also a highly reputable Indy and it looks good to go. Not my first AMG as I've owned a cl55, e55 w210, ml55, c63, etc.
