Fender clearancing....roll or cut?

Roll. If done correctly (proper rolling tool and delicate heating process), the results speak for themselves. I suppose it also depends on what you are trying to stick inside of those fenders. Cutting is more involved and difficult to pull off to keep the "OEM-like" flow to the vehicle lines.

I ask for one reason.....I asked a local shop to roll my fenders. They said no problem. I get it back and the fenders are cut, not rolled. Debating whether or not to complain....

I would be concerned about the paint. Is there exposed metal where they cut? The paint could possibly start to flake away from that area, not to mention the possibility for corrosion and rust.

Hell yeah you should complain, they did something you did not ask them to do, even if done well. Denroll is right about the paint/rust thing, chipping paint will grow and take off more and more paint. They should have asked you before doing anything.
