Tune only

Tune only
Anyone have dyno/street impression reviews on getting just a tune only on their car? Euro and some other company's claim 35-40 horsepower so would like some real world opinions on the tunes that are being programmed these days.

Most,of the research and searches I did over the winter I came to a conclusion most people saw20-30 Rwhp. Solid results. Tunes varied Eurocharged and bip were the most common. Add a clutched 84 mm pulley and it was an average of 45 rwhp. The tune only varies because stock tunes and cars are not exactly the same. If there is a good speed shop for imports in town I would have it dyno tuned. There isn't anything decent in or around here anymore.

Most stock 55`s make 420 rwhp as an average dyno rwhp and pick up around 30 rwhp with a tune. Add a small SC pulley with it and you can see 60-65 rwhp gains. dynos across the country vary , so you just have to average all the info you find but best bang for the buck is pulley in tune. IMO

Interesting. Eurocharge told me that just adding the pulley by itself with no tune will give 25hp for the 1.5 lbs of boost increase and that the ECU will compinsate for it. But a tune alone was worth 40hp so add them up and I guess thats correct for most guys results then.
