no looped rail and stock injectors

Is it the ticking bomb? Is looped rail requires correction the ECU?
Does anyone monitor the EGT in #8?

It depends on how much boost you are running, usually your tuner will tell you if you are maxed out. Anything above 180 pulley requires bigger injectors.
The looped rail is to equalize the pressure in the rail

Getting a rail and bigger injectors and a custom tune will prolly get you maybe another 10hp, but in reality the added fuel is for safety. Afr at 11.5 is fine

I have a bad experience with replacement injectors.

it makes sense to mount looped rail and stock injectors? in this case the ECU will be necessary to retune?

I have seen a few guys do that, and a retune was not needed, I think as long as you don't do any other mods you would be fine. What was wrong with replacement injectors?

If you use the EV, you will need the pigtails to connect them securely

What happened with the ev14's?

Also, how much do those other MB injectors flow? A chart of applicable MB factory injectors with flow rates would be a good piece of info, unless one already exists.

ZAYED,,
that doesn't make any sense. the srt6 uses the same 3.2 s/c engine that the slk32 uses.

i would think it should be srt6/3.2 and srt8/55k engine

looks like that MB change injectors at 2006 year. My blue injectors are from 2010 g-class (g55 amg).

Yes your right, MB replace their Injectors since 9/2005 from "112 078 03 49", which is "0280 156 072"

to "113 078 01 23", which is "0280 156 304"....

So does that mean that the '06 model year 55's have the higher flowing injectors than the earlier model years? So '06 wouldn't need updated injectors to run 180mm crank pulley etc?

Yes the 06 have bigger injectors, although they are not 550cc . But if you have a 180 pulley you are fine, it's when you start ramping up more boost is where you have to be careful

All models would be ok with a 180mm pulley but yes, the '06's had the blue injectors that were rated +6lbs over previous years'.
