I have 3.06 gears and whats nice is that in 5th it will just pull you do not have to kick it down a gear to make the car move.

Just asking here, but I understand the dodge/Chrysler 300, challenger SRT center section is the same, any truth to that?

Well most of the chassis is the same as the dodge/chrysler 300 so it wont be a big shock if the diff is also the same

What RPM are you crossing the 1/4 trap with the 3.06 final drive? It's shifting to 4th I presume?

I think even shorter would be better if you were only interested in say 0-140 mph. But, you would need LSD and drag radials for sure. Because you would probably spin a lot because of the torque multiplication of the shorter final drive.

Ideally, You want to cross the traps at the highest rpm possible just after where your peak hp is made.
