That looks awesome. I am not a fan of wood for interiors. When done right, it looks good. It's just not my cup of tea.

Lots of mixed reviews.. I have to agree with LS1. If you sprayed a few coats of clear and buffed it, would be nicer. BUt, if you are happier then wood trim go for it!
The faux carbon sticker is well, uhmm. No. just No.

I wrapped it in the 3m 1080 series Brushed aluminum as well as 5D carbon. I wasn't a fan of the silver because it looked white and you couldn't notice the brushed aluminum look unless the sun hit it. As for the cf wrap i wasn't a fan of the fake looking cF. I was 2 clicks away from ordering a cf skinning kit and going that route. I just couldn't take driving with out door panels and a center console anymore after the 1st two wrap jobs weren't to my liking.

Brian that looks good. I still am not a fan of stickering up a mercedes. I like the color of your interior. It goes well. But, the brushed aluminum finish looks very BMW IMO. Mercedes is a classier make, I still prefer the gorgeous look of wood. Better ambiance IMO. The install looks great, I can't tell it is a wrap from the pics! Congrats.

See, now this is a good effort!! It looks classy and done right. Very very nice OP should learn a thing or 2 from BagMan. Way to go BagMan, and I bet it was pretty cheap to do too

Looks like they added new colors too.
Make sure you buy enough to keep the grain pattern in the same direction.

Not really, haven't been "tactful" for a long time. I think genuine, strong opinions are what people are looking for anyway. I like when I ask my friends about something I've made or done and they respond with "that looks like a pile of turd". It's just more honest and real than "it's not bad but not really my taste"

I specifically bought mine with birds eye maple, as it is the only wood finish I can stand. But that brushed aluminum vinyl looks pretty damn nice, and if I do run into the right CL, but it has ****ty wood trim, then I'll know what to do.

Looks good, other that the trash on the floor I've been thinking about doing this on my ml. It has the brown burled walnut and I'm kinda tired of it. I don't want to paint it, too permanent and the fake cf doesn't do it for me either. I think brushed is the way to go

The brushed look is definitely really nice. It looks professional and classy. It looks clean and not tacky at all, like it's supposed to be there from the factory.
Personally for me, the standard trim in that dark, greyish wood looks best.

Lol well I ordered far too much, it came on a 1.5 metre roll and I got 4 metre length..... I would say 2m would be perfect.
One thing I would suggest as I'm re doing all mine at the mo, get the primer that 3m sell, you paint it on the edges or the areas you will be stretching the vinyl, and will make the vinyl stick and not lift! Comes off if you wish to go back to wood, but definitely needed I would say.
