Looking for a wing!

Hey guys I am really digging this wing on the Renntech c74 amg. Anyone know of any others like this that mount to the rear lisence plate? I'm not paying 3900 for a wing lol any aftermarket options that anyone knows about?

I'm curious how long the license plate plastic inserts would last with that weight hanging on them

For reelz homes lol Im ready to have someone waterjet some brackets if there really is no other options. But even a universal fit setup would be narly. I can order a carbon flat wing with end canards to mount to it. THanks boys

I thought STi's looked too much like boy racer...though I bet that wing adds at least 50 WHP.

Please do it. I need a good laugh can you mount a gopro on the back glass facing the wing and do a highway pull? I want to see how high it's going to fly when it rips the license plate nut inserts out of that hard brittle plastic trunk panel.

I almost didn't believe that Renntech would create something so hideous, but they did. It apparently attaches to the rear decklid, not the license plate holder...

Looks like it, but remember 211's don't have the metal plate bracket like a 204 either. On a 204 the plate bracket mounts directly to the metal trunk lid. On 211's the plate mounts directly to a plastic trunk insert, which usally cracks around the threaded inserts under the weight of the... License plate

Either way, if he's not trolling and is actually going to do it

By the way, love the sig!! One of my favorite cartoons.

I really don't care whether or not anyone likes my idea! I want a rear lisence plate mount and bracket wing for my AMG. I am more for the unique look, trend setter not a follower! My car currently.

I am not a dumbass, I would mount behind the plastic bracket obviously. I'm not going to say anything about your wheels barrrrf!

Your car looks cool the way it is. I do not like the wing. It bleeds ricer. Only positive is u will get more road races. I'm willing to blow my my motor to beat a car with that wing. I'm thinking your,in the wrong car/brand for that style.
No offense but it's just not up to the standard Mercedes set when they made this increadable car.

I agree, your car looks good as it is. That wing will only make it look like a 90s Honda Civic. If you're looking for something a lil more out there, check lorinser, Wald, or prior design. But that wing looks like it should only be on race cars.

That's a weird statement

So you're saying people should only modify these cars the way the majority wants? I'm not a fan of the wing, but setting a standard for mods is ridiculous.

IMO his car goes from E Class to no class if it's on there. Whats next, a snorkel hood scoop from the 70's???

If I wanted a stock E class I wouldn't have modded my car.

Hard to tell in a moving pic. Here is the side profile.

Looks really cool, but screams "look at me" I would have loved it when I was 20. These days I like to say "look at me" with quiet authority. To each his own, I say enjoy it! You'll be king of the hill in a Honda club.

Well...
1. I know you're serious
2. I've expressed my opinion
3. Below are some options

Sarto Racing CLK spoiler

Custom build a spoiler similar to this Japanese built E class. He got someone to build the stands for him.

Either way, you're probably still talking big money. You might come out a little cheaper piecing something together; a wing you like and stands from another wing. Haven't seen anything that would attach to the license place area though.

Good Luck!
