G37 Encounter
Yesterday I was on the freeway minding my own business when a G37 comes up next to me and starts to instigate. I knew I would dust him pretty easily so I just didn't bother but the guy just wouldn't give up. Anyways I punched it and took ahead fairly quick but I didn't "WALK" him. I couldn't believe it but we reached around 130mph and he was probably 2-3 cars back. I was taking him but I was extremely surprised he hung with me that far. What gives? It was the pre-g37 not the Q40, Q50 ones. My assumption is that we probably have almost 1000 lb difference. He being 3500 lbs and me around 4300-4500. I doubt g37s are modded. Pretty surprising to say the least. 20 minutes down the line a black charger try to take me but he failed. Also I wouldn't really push it this much unless the roads are pretty open.

More commonly modded then any Amg. They have bolt on superchargers, turbo kits and the list goes on.

I had a similiar experience with a G37 IPL a few years ago, but I started behind and could not pass him. I was stock and I think my I/C pump was failing, so that kinda sucked.

My wife drives a G37 and while it's a great car and quick it's not in the same league as a properly maintained E55 for straight line acceleration. I haven't modded it as the bolt ons (tune, intake, exhaust, even headers) add very small amounts of power. The best option is the stillen supercharger or a TT kit.

Yah I dunno, they are annoying, as are just about every Prius driver, sanctimonious prigs, but then there's the bimmer boyz. I had one of the roadsters rev on me and cut traffic off to catch up to me and in general behave like, well, a bimmer boy, who thought he had a fast car. I figured I did him a favor by dispelling his illusions.

never had any issues with the BMW crowd......actually have met some nice owners haha.......I saw a 435 with a M badge yesterday lol

Yeah I had a kid in a modded M3 try me on the freeway. Needless to say he Got Spanked, 65-135 pulled by at least 10.. And for those Prius F**ks, best sticker I saw was on a highly modded GTR at my shop that said F**k you and your Prius.. Summed up well I thought.
