LOL 2 years ago I wanted to drive my E55 like Chris Harris
I love roasting tires
I know dyno mode is dangerous in a car with this much power if the person driving doesn't know what they're doing but if you want raw raw torque and power without ANY nannies it's the way to go. One thing though, I did go into limp mode a few times in dyno mode after some RAW driving, it would get stuck in 3rd gear until I turned off then back on. It happened a few times, didn't linger though.

As far as torque management with TC off or on and vs dyno mode, it varies between years/models. The 03 W211 will go totally out of control and roast the tires to the rims with TC off but the 06 w211 has more TM built in it seems . The CL55 and S55 also have a lot of TM built in and are hard to spin out of control . My new W212 has even more TM than any other model I have owned or driven but dyno mode is easy to activate.

I was certainly able to "drift" with ESP off only but for a full blown long set of 11s on the road, no way, it would start cutting in. Even when trying to get the rear loose in turns, it would loose it but it would "bring it back" in a way or not let it get too out of hand but with dyno mode, it just leaves and hands you the controls
Maybe the older cars are less invasive? The again, Denroll, your car is 06 so......
