Next time you're at the grocery store etc look around. These same people share the road with you. Not everyone has the same reflexes or sense of awareness as you may.

Sure. Done correctly, you shouldn't be close to hitting anyone. Have some common sense, and actually think about what you're saying. What is more dangerous? 2 cars on a large freeway late at night with no traffic vs a bunch of kidiots and morons getting high pretending they drive f1?

Do you check the condition of the other car? No. It's not safe and if you think it really is then your really setting yourself up for disaster.
I do race on the roads. I know it's not safe. If it doesn't feel right I don't do it and I back off. It is fun it is a rush but you have to set limits and be very carefull. An open road does not mean it's safe.

Anything I do is on my own when testing. Empty road,flat, clean, no cameras and if anything doesn't look good or I see another car somewhere....I will instantly back off. Just myself to worry about.
Your right LS1.....you have to set limits just like drinking. One drink and you should be ok, 10 drinks....no!!!
