Took my e55 amg to track
Took my e55 to the track "willow springs " heres the results all stock aside from x pipe no muffler no resonator and heat wrap intake inlets.
No prep street style drag , traction was a b☆☆ch had to padle it of the line , going back on 28th with nitto tyres and maybe bigger heat core and flash idk yet maybe lsd over tune.
I'm not sure what to make of those timeslips. It would make more sense if those were 1/8th mile MPH and 1/4 mile ETs. But even then not for a stock E55 on street tires. What gives?

If you can get traction you'll cut a full second off those times! With the Hoosiers I'm running between 10.1 - 10.3 second 1000' times with only headers and a H/X upgrade.

I know right is real hard off the line car makes so much power stock it spins , i was thinking of investing on a lsd so i could hook at Wot right of the line instead of constantly getting of the pedal off the line.

An LSD will help some, but not nearly as much as a good set of drag radials.
U think so ? Feels like the car would fish tail under heavy acceleration
I run the Hoosier 255-50/16 D.O.T Drag Radials (NOT the Quick Time Pros) at between 15-21 psi. They run straight as an arrow and dead-hook every time. My 60' times vary between 1.78-1.81s consistently.

Interesting, when i ran i had what came stock in the car the michelin super sport tires 275 35 18, now i got these ntnt5 275/35/18 got for 100 bucks for all 4
Don't put drag radials first. Your idea sounds better, LSD is the key. Then you put drag radials and you will seriously drop some time. If I could do it over I would have gotten LSD first. I don't have the drag radials anymore. But, I would still have the LSD.
Great numbers, You would pickup quite a bit of mph in the remaining 320 feet

Yea i will be going again on 28th and i will post up slips again.
willow springs is roughly 1070 feet from start to end so instead of that 0.25 mile run is more of a .22 mile run 2 years ago it was way less than that but they are trying to stretch it as much as possible each year.
