i think what a lot of people dont realize is how many passes it takes to figure a car out... i literally am at my local 1/8 mile track almost weekly... i have tried so many combinations based on forum searching, but everyone should realize that what works for one person, may not work for the other... yes, same cars, but geography and track conditions are so important... for example i tried QTPs, they were HORRIBLE for me, but they work well for others...

It sucks how that happens with a lot of the higher end car people. I was reading a thread on some other Benz or Euro forum and a Chevy guy with a lot of engine building, supercharging, and tuning experience was chiming in and had some questions and ideas.
These dicks basically called him an idiot for questioning Weistec and asking why they didn't do some things a different way. Turned the thread in to personal attacks and other stupidity. These were some of the guys with the fastest of the fast Mercedes. It was disappointing to say the least.
Its always my tuner or my engine builder is the best and your obviously an idiot because you can only build/tune your GM or Honda. If you have never built an engine or tuned your car and feel you have more experience then someone that has, you should shut the **** up.
If experienced people from other makes of cars were more involved, maybe we could get a tuning software so we can tune our own cars.
Congrats on your car. I love that you made your car work with your idea and didn't give a **** what anyone else had to say about it. Shows there still is some hot rodding to do with these cars and it is not all based on how much disposable money you have.
