My chime was going off from the passenger seat when no one or anything was in it. Dealer said it needed to be recalibrated, which seems to fixed the problem. But they charged me $180.00 to do it. Does that sound right? How did it get out of tolerance in the first place, and what's to keep it from doing it again? Thx

Mine has it turned off. On my car it is available to change on the dash command. I think under sounds. Can't remember now
