Wiring loom melted on fuel pump

I am currently in the process of replacing the fuel pumps but the wiring loom is melted at the connection, (as they do), and we can't seem to source a replacement or solution. Just wondering how others have gone about resolving the issue?

Here is the part number for the passenger side fuel pump plug/harness. You have to cut and splice it in. Part # 211-540-07-00. I got mine off ebay

No batch, still in testing. I'm getting ready to modify the hat for return style fueling

I appreciate the appreciation
