After the E55 comes .......




Round 1 mods were a pulley change and 100 shot. Dyno said it was 698 hp.
Round 2 was a Formato blower ported blower, ported stock heads, 102 throttle body, BTR cam and a nicer nitrous system. Dyno said 700 hp and nearly 900 on spray.
It's an awesome platform and so similar to the E55. But it handles REALLY well!

The issue is the stock clutch. They are only good to 550-650 hp. Mine was slipping at 550 hp on drag radials so an upgrade was needed. rather than spend 2k on a clutch plus install, I decided to go with the automatic that is faster at the drag strip.
This one is built up pretty far but there are always faster ones. Here is a quick video of a group of us driving through the Tail Of The Dragon this fall. I started the video where I was getting on it coming out of a couple of corners. As you can see it will overpower the tires fairly easily under 50 mph but the Michelin PSS's do a great job of limiting tire spin and hooking back up.
