Hey ,
. I just talked to BC and they said that you will need a non airmatic rear lower control arm for it to work.

The dampers for the J05 are different, but not by much.

Beware, I felt their customer service left A LOT to be desired.

i just had a set of these installed. What a difference in ride. i ppicked up the items below for the installation:

2 rear lcas 2113501806
2 spring insulators 2113250384
2 brackets 2114270541
2 lca covers (optional) 2113520388

def will need an alignment afterwards. The settings from factory lowers the car to almost the lip of 19 rims.

Different how, I'm tired of driving a lumber wagon. A little softer in the front would be nice.

correct.

As someone else said. Search the forums. There are at least 3 specific threads, one is a complete step by step DIY if you want to go that way. I bought my setup straight from BC Racing, they had the set in stock. Running 24 clicks (32 total damper settings, 0 is full soft), I bought my arms on Amazon, you don't need all of the other parts. You can pull Fuse F37 and the airmatic won't be red on the dash, you will just get an instrument malfunction and you can clear with the arrow on the steering wheel.

J05 is stiffer than J06, J07 is wagon specific with a different rear damper but shares the same front as the J06

Thank you all for your help!
Finally i purchased the J-05 and tomorrow is the installation.

I would like to know how you recommend me to tune the coilovers.

I would like to have the ride height about 1-2cm lower than the airmatic sport 2 mode.
As for the ride comfort i dont mind it will be about 10-20% stiffer than sport 2 mode, means slightly stiffer but not too jumpy or bone breaking (my 3 & 5 yo kids riding the car daily).

my car has the stock 18' wheels on it for that matter.

Thank you!!

Ride Height - Your show will set that. By design, the ride height can be adjusted through a pretty large range without affecting spring preload.

This is a street spring rate setup so it's not going to be bone jarring. I found that you need to go pretty far (32 clicks total - 0 total soft, 32 full stiff) into it to control the weight of the car and the rebound. I am at 24 clicks and have been running that way for about 3 months now. I could use a tad more rebound control but since it's not individually settable, the only way to get more rebound is to set more compression. Good news is that it's just knobs (rears are behind the carpet so not quite as easy so you can just drive it, change it and drive again until you get it where you want.

Thank you for your comment.

From what i understand the damping is easy to tune after the installation but the rear ride height is a PITA to adjust once installing, thats why i prefer to prepare initial setup before installing and do only final ride height adjustments once installed.

Any suggestions on that?
I really want to keep car in decent height, about 1-1.5cm lower than stock sport 2 mode.

Thanks again!
