E63 to C63 Transmission swap questions

E63 to C63 Transmission swap questions
Need a transmission.
Now Im wondering if this is a good opportunity to change over to the 2009 C63 AMG transmission to get the rev-matching downshifting. They are the exact same bolt on trans.

Question is will the rev-matching downshifts work after installation? I know it needs to be SCN coded and initilized adaptation but i'm afraid it might lose the c63 software I want. Or will the c63 software work?
Will it work?

What parts are different on the C63 transmission? Is it just the TCU itself, or is more different?

I believe the valve body and the main ECU is different but that's about it.

If someone can chime in that would be great!

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
i'd just send it to weistec to have the whole transmission upgraded. it will be better than anything in the C63 once upgraded.
