Anyone using DashCommand?

Got the 80mm FSP installed today, along with EuroCharged tune.

I picked up an ELM327 to connect my iPhone to the car using DashCommand in order to keep a eye on IAT's and AFR's and boost levels.

Everything works beautifully except the AFR's... I am getting no reading. Simply says N/A...

I've searched and have come up with nothing.

Does anyone know how to get an AFR reading through this app? Or should I use another app to monitor this?

Thanks in advance.

You need a wideband O2 sensor for afr. Enjoy the iats now because it's cold up there

You can view the stock O2 sensors, except it will only show if it goes completely lean or rich.

Luckly they have come down in price!!, I like this company http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/.

Stock ECU can't ready AFRs past 13 to 1 accurately I think

you can read boost with Dashcam? what does your boost look like with the 80MM FSP?

Dashcommander can read wideband, but you need either innovative wideband along with their OBD2 hardware, or you need Kiwi Bluetooth scanner and their wideband hardware.

Don't use more than 2 parameters via obd or refresh rate gets really slow

any wireless options for wideband O2 sensors? I'm not too smart in that department. I know AEM has one, but poor reviews because the wifi protocol and installed router necessity.

Best set up for clean, "no wires", android capable, for mainly AFR monitoring on mild set up?

Both the two options I mentioned will give you android wideband monitoring.

There's also a few other wireless wideband products that have an android app, but they don't give you Torque or Dashcommander support and generally don't cost much less than the Innovative or Kiwi products.

I'm also about to do one of those options, but I'm still researching other simple options such as getting a single channel wideband and stick a gauge in the ashtray and be done.

+2 on Zeitronix. I'm ordering the NDash and Zt2 combo next week. Used the zt2 on my last toy...loved it!

I have nDash with ZT-2 and ZT-3 and couldn't be happier. Especially with the AMG skin by Bramage!

Yes, it's the best. I didn't think it was until I saw my friend using it to tune and it was so easy, one button and log, very very useful

Dashcommander or Torque can also do data logging if you have kiwi or Innovative wideband, but it's a little more work setting it up. I'm installing an android head unit, so if I can get everything integrated into the head unit then it'll be super slick and stealthy.

Where do you stick the ndash in the cabin?

Mine will be suctioned to the windshield like a gps for easy removal. I plan on using it to scan codes on my daily driver (if needed) as well.

what are the products needed to view AFR on torque or Dash Command?

For using PLX products:
-Kiwi 2 (Bluetooth)
-Kiwi 2 IMFD adapter
-SM-AFR - Wideband Air/Fuel Sensor Module

Is this correct?

My goal is to do as least wiring as possible running into the cabin and use a spare android phone suction mounted for readings/logging. I don't want to add a gauge or have to drill through pillars or dash.

What are the innovative motorsports or other brand equipment requirements? AEM is out because its not android compatible?

I believe that's correct for the kiwi products.

Innovate you need LC2 wideband and their OT-2 wifi data logging product. You can add a second LC2 if you want to individually monitor each cylinder bank.

Looks like Dashcommander support of Innovate OT2 is poor. Since innovate does not make an android app, that leaves Kiwi as the only feasible option for Android wideband monitoring.

Thanks... that narrows it down a lot! seems like OT2 has some hardware issues as well?
