Hennessey????
I WAS ON THE PHONE TODAY WITH HENNESSEY. IT COMES TO M SHOCK THAT THEY DO WORK ON AMGS.
IS THIS COMPANY TRUST WORTHY. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE A PACKAGE FOR THE E55 THAT PUTS OUT 640BHP.. ITS 30K BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT I THOUGHT THEY ONLY DID VIPERS.
HAS ANYONE EVER USED THEM? WOULD YOU TRUST THEM TO WORK ON YOUR BENZ?

Be very careful with this guy, I've read a lot of negative things about him. He was being sued by alot of Viper owners. A friend here in the islands was suing him over a deposit on work that was never done, if I'm not mistaken. Fortunately he was able to get his car back intact!

He's cleaned up, once I get enough time I'm going to do a write up on his shop and stuff for my project but that'll happen a long time from now.

Includes custom computer programming, air induction system, supercharger modification including pullies and belts. These modifications are not visible to your friend with the Porsche or Viper. What will be visible to many other sports cars will be your tail lights! 0-60 times are reduces by 0.5 sec. and the 0-124 mph time is reduced by 1.5 sec! Cost includes professional installation with road and dyno testing. Allow 2 weeks for installation. Call for more information or to schedule an appointment. Price $9500
In all fairness, I have met John when going with my friend to pick up his 650R. The transaction went very smoothly with the car being ready a week after the scheduled date due to circumstances beyond Hennessey's control.
But I've heard the horror stories, and I'll leave it up to you...tough call with all the Benz tuners and similar gains for much less money.

Yikes! You are right, it was Lingenfelter that died in the car crash.
But it is H that has jerked around and ripped off many Vette/Viper owners. It was the talk of the Corvetteforum when I was a Vetter.

I would stay away from Hennessey. hennessey has started branching out to new markets becuase many people in their past markets dislike the company. Ive never personally dealt with him, but all of my fathers Viper buddies arent very fond of his business practices. There are stories about him selling parts off customers cars, taking peoples money and not doing the work, overcharging, etc. I did some research and found that he has more lawsuits against him than the entire Jackson family put together.

Seems like the general conscience is that Hennessey has yet to prove himself in the market as a reliable (I didn't say bad) tuner. His cars put out amazing power, but that's if you can get ahold of your car.
There's cheaper, more powerful, safer alternatives, I still say wait for a little while longer and look at the Stage 1 from Evosport, trust me, it'll be sweeeet.
