I smiled when the OP states he "spun a bit in first", my 63 does not like the PSS rears in the first three gears , 1st gear is basically useless unless your running serious drag tire. Honestly the other guy was probably dodging pot holes,

Oh so now unless you drive a amg you can't chime in on a thread? -you don't own one so you can't speak.... talk about negative. Way to discriminate bro.

Do you even drive one to experience ? all your comments are base on what ? Not discriminating, the OP just shared his story that's all, no need to bush.

lol.... Owned! Its funny how some people get so butt hurt about the E55's as being the end all be all. I have had a few over the years and still have one. But the newer biturbos / quicker transmissions will straight up own an e55 with minor mods. A tuned biturbo will walk a pretty heavily modified E55. I have both sitting out front of my building as we speak and know this first hand.

This/\/\/\/\.. My car is Heavily modified and is seriously fast . A "New" Bi-Turbo with just a tune could/would probably get me. A tuned one with down pipes and it's ALL over.. Trannies are Way quicker as well.. That's why I'm Looking..

All joking aside, it's progression. The biturbo's are doing precisely what the should be doing. The parasitic loss of the kompressors is enough to make them old tech. Turbos have come beyond a long way and turning up the wick on these engine is easy, no hardware, just tune the waste gates for boost levels, and start slaying the predecessors with every bolt on. Not to mention the dct transmissions with more gear ratios alone makes a world of difference. I love my 55, hell I love the v12tt's I have and had, but the new biturbo's 8's are after my heart as there monsters, and easy to modify with turbo upgrades.

There is no doubt the biturbo is better and faster platform, nobody is arguing that m113k is faster. We all know the biturbo is the new king. However, a race is a race. OP got lucky that's all. Plus, so many cars today is faster than the E55 so butt hurt ? not really.

Thanks! I never knew posting a story qualifies me for the firing squad. Like I woke up in the morning with a great story in my head. As for the mercedes parking lot jokey, maybe one day you too will own your own!! I now have 3! A C43, E55, and ML63. Or is that a lie too, maybe I should post pictures of my ownerships so I'm not subjected to the same pathetic ridicule.

But why do so many people that own amgs, specifically w211/204 threads, catch feelings and get salty when ANYONE has something to say they don't like? Not for one second did i say you lied or were full of cow manure, I simply stated my opinion about your op-thats it. Bi-turbo over kompressor was one of my posts. Really the only thing I have a issue with is how someone with a newer, as you stated, bi-turbo amg lost to a modded e55.... Nothing against you or you e55 but imo that shouldn't happen, not saying your vehicle is a turd just on paper it doesn't add up. However it did, and good for you for beating him.

I typically hang out in the non amg w211 forum, since i in fact do not drive a amg (e550)-but enjoy the humor over here, but the ego's in this joint are through the roof. Like i picture people breaking keyboards or phones in this thread... Some of yall need a drink lmao.

Incorrect. They are entirely different. An MCT is just a standard trans with a clutch pack instead of a torque converter. DCT is not even close to the same design.

You don't get what im saying. This is where lack of experience shows ignorance.

You can ET a 13 second quarter mile. The trap speed will really show the highway power. You trap 8mph lower than a stock e63. I'm telling you right now, that if you both started at the same gear, at the same speed, it would be entirely different.

This is how false info gets spread. Guy was probably in the wrong gear. Just saying. My car traps 120-121, and I've raced cars like that from a roll, with little success.

Hey guys just me personal experience, I have driven many 2013-2014 e63's not the S or PP ones, and I can say that the w211 55k defintely FEELS faster...now I'm not saying they are but maybe it is faster than a stock one I realize with a tune it will win but stock vs bolt on 55k who knows? That should be all Driver mod...IMO no point in bashing either car or person as in reality we will ver rarely get a chance to race a 212 63 and a 211 55k

Maybe the ones you racing have a tune. Also they are faster than an e55 and most of it is 0-60. From a roll you would have alittle better chance. Depends what year he raced also. We are not talking a big difference here people. If your running 11.4 you should beat a bi turbo that is stock..
