Kill story E63 Biturbo
Well...almost. I had a run in with a new E63 and the results were way better then I had anticipated. Basically he rolled up to me at a red light, I gingerly slapped the stick into 1st gear and took off slowly while rolling down my window to listen to him. I pulled away a bit, he was basically at my rear bumper when I heard his motor start to spool up. That's when I put my food into the firewall, I spun a bit in 1st, he caught up to my front of my door and I held it there until about 100MPH, If anything I was pulling away ever so slowly. I was very happy with my old silver bullet. Its got close to 145,xxxMiles on her and still running extremely strong. I recently went to the track and ran 12.2 with a pretty bad 60' time. Now I know if he just had a tune on that car he would have walked away without hesitation, but.. he didn't.

I have the eurocharged tune, transmission tune and upgraded inter cooler pump, plus a set of K&N filters. I use to have a clutched pulley until it exploded. But I think the car runs just as hard without it since I fixed my pump.

A little over a year ago I took a CLS63 bi-turbo by about 4 lengths from a 30-120 roll. This was BEFORE I put my 82 TB on and Jerry Dyno tune. I took a 63 wagon after that and Absolutely Destroyed it. Not even close..

I trapped 119mph, and like I said this was a rolling start. My wife was following me in her C43 and she said the guy made a U turn because he missed his turn. Pretty sure he was trying. Actually that's a pretty absurd comment to make that he wasn't trying. I don't think people usually more then triple the posted limit just because they are driving next to each other. Also I never knew they make E63, BiTurbo without it being an AMG. Strange

2012 models run anywhere between 12-12.2 in the quarter mile. From a rolling start it's very possible to hang with one with just a tune. They are quick off the line for sure. And the newer the year the faster they get.

If he was trying, which i'm not going to say he wasn't, he failed. Those bi-turbos are fast af-even the non amg ones. And yes, there are naturally aspirated 63's rolling around and now bi-turbo 63's. Not to discredit you or your car, but it seems as though he was a **** poor driver. Missing his turn and what not. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

i agree with you. as long as you maintain them, 55's will continue to run. M113 is a super stout motor.
I sense some animosity in your you text. Don't be butt-hurt mayynneee. and not everyone that drives a automatic just pushes 1 pedal, meaning some people down shift and manually shift the transmission. So you and anyone else could easily qualify as a poor driver when driving an automatic- especially if you are manually shifting through gears. and whos to say he dropped into first? or had his trans in sport mode? You probably saw him in your rear view pulling up to the red light and could barely wait-had your feet ready and everything else. So you can miss me with the digs about driver error-it is extremely realistic.
Thanks for the info, my best friend has a 2011E63, I know what engines they have. I'm not sure what qualifies a driver as a **** poor driver if he is driving an automatic. I never knew it was that hard to push ONE pedal. Although I must say, it's pretty pathetic when a forum member can't make a post without being in not so many words called a liar. Even after I posted my time slip.

Yea!! I'm surprised he didn't shift into reverse it being so overly complicated!! Well I'm glad this gave everyone something to squabble over. I'll know for next time to stick to the generally approved subjects of which set of long tubes are best! Or what's the best way of lowering my car!?!? Heavens forbid my 11 year old car wins a race.

Congrats. Until you specifically confirmed it was BiTurbo, I was thinking it might have been mis-identified as a NA 63 W212.

In a race many thing can happen. The OP won period. Sometimes is luck sometimes the opponent make mistake... too many factors. He just posted his race to a biturbo simply sharing with W211 AMG forum. Do you even have a W211 AMG or W212 AMG ? if you don't, no need negative.
