I just traded in my clk550 and I am a proud new owner of a 2005 E55 i was searching a long time but finally found the right one I know theres countless of threads about mods and etc I wanna know where should I start ? should i order a new pump? and a aftermarket intercooler?... i am not tracking the car just would love to get more hp and tq gains

Congrat ! I would start with IC pump replacement, ECU tune and Eurocharge Header.

I am nearly in a similar situation. Congratulations. From the hundreds of threads i have read- as above HE and pump initially. Then tune and headers if you want more. I think the supercharger pulley is worth avoiding.

Take a look at the Meziere pump also. If Johnson get the CM90, I had the CM30 on my C32 and it's absolutely tiny. Supercharger pulleys have been well documented to explode occasionally ruining the top of your engine. There is a large thread on it. A member here made a scatter shield to protect from the flying debris.

Also some people have reported stock cars matching or beating their aftermarket pulleys. Presumably this is due to much higher IAT's. Of course I would be keen to get more opinions on this and also know which pulley is the least prone to detonation.
