STAR Diagnostic error message V8 Swap
Hi,
I have a Chrysler Crossfire (basis: Mercedes SLK R170) with an AMG E55 W211 engine.
My problem is, if I want to check drive authorization with STAR Diagnostic I will get an error message (see attached file) and canīt read the status.
Can anybody help me?

Is this "original" STAR? You have to check if all the database libraries are in its location and were properly extracted(if installed by someone other than MB). I've installed mostly BMW ISTA-D and P on my laptop, but getting ready to learn/download/install STAR. I was successful in installing WIS so far 
and was hoping for diagnostic software subforum here, to learn more, but could not find any.
