ET Predictions?

I'm doing some winter upgrades and I thought I'd get your opinions on how it will affect my ET in the 1/4 mile. I'm concerned that I may need to go rollbar shopping.

Last year I ran a best of 11.96 running Hoosiers, PLM H/X, and long tube headers.

My winter mods this year will be:

82mm TB
Methanol injection (for cooling only)
Tune by Lawshee

Still running stock boost.

Any predictions on my ET, assuming the same weather as when I ran 11.96?

I believe there were a few members running headers and 82 tb on stock boost a few years back. Think they were between 11.4-11.6.

Somewhere in the 11.4 range like RBJ said. Tony is good. To be honest I'm not sure how much meth will help with headers and Your heat exchanger if,the weather is fair. Can't hurt

This place is a joke.
82mm picks up .1 and 1mph. You really need to up your boost with a pulley, street driving with long tubes on stock boost has to be pretty lame. I'm guessing 11.60's/70's

I say 11.5/11.7 depending on 60ft. You Need More Boost if your going to add the TB to go with headers.. More air in more air out. If your going to run meth you can Really push the boost, otherwise I wouldn't go higher than a 185 pulley do to heat.. TB upgrade really improves throttle response. Good luck..

Mix 50 50 race gas MS109 and pump gas and Im thinking you can run 11.2 - 11.3. GL!

Get the pulley and tune - Meth injection will compliment everything. You'll be deep in the 11's with a good tire.

Wile a agree with the pulley and tune crowd, some people want to run stock boost and max out power. I respect this aspect. 99lightnig and awol on stock pulley will outrun 90% of the members here. I did pulley and tune first. Some don't want to do a pulley. The fact he hasn't done it yet I would say say the op (joe) is in that crowd.

I personally don't understand the logic especially when meth is being introduced into the "mix"...pardon the pun. Meth is ideal if boosting at a higher than stock rate. To each their own.

Meth is for cooling. Like a killer chiller or trunk tank. Some people like a stock pulley set up. You don't have to understand it just respect it that's all. Actually we learn a lot from these set ups.
