I have a 2003 e55 and had reacently change the fSront brakes shortly thereafter I heard a sound like a motor running continuesly and abrake symbol appear on my dash indicating that something was up with the brakes.
i have new brakes pad in ,and the brakes feel fine.Can the brake motor be disconnected?The local MB said that it was placed there to come on at a certain miles,but it means nothing..

SBC unit has a finite life span. You may of reached the warning (white warning on the IC). You may also have a bad pad sensor.
