Dealership Spa Service, worth it?

the benz dealership offers a spa service which is leather treatment/interior treatment/exterior polish wax treatment for 300 bucks or so, has anyone had this done and is it worth it?

It's only worth it if they offer a happy ending.

there isn't much that's 'worth it' at a dealer.........they only want to take your money. I don't know where you live, but I'm sure there is someone around where you live that does the same thing for a better price, then again, if that service is worth 300 bux to you, then it may be a good deal

Lol

Detail shops around here are 100-300. 300 is not that bad overall. If it included using a buffer it's a good deal. For a shop doing those services word of mouth and seeing results is best.

LOL, The dealerships are for new car purchase and warranty work, after that you should avoid them like the plague. The $300 that you spend at a Mercedes dealership, is a detail you would pay $100 for at an independent detail shop.

in your opinions is the polish and wax for a black car necessary to do to get the gloss black finish?

If you polish your black car , its going to look great and you will love it im sure. All of this is not worth $300 tho , any private detail shop can do a full detail and it will include exterior /wax/polish for about $130-150

Go to a detail shop and get a clay bar and buff and polish. It will clean the car and remove most scratches and swirl marks. Even after a car is washed there is dirt in the paint and you don't want to lock it in with wax
