Radio Antenna Question
My car had the Harman Kardon system installed at new, and then the previous owner installed a Kenwood headunit (DNX9960) probably about 6 years ago.
I notice that my car has terrible radio reception. My previous car (BMW Z4) had bad reception, but this is significantly worse. Our other two cars (BMW 740iL and Chevy Avalanche) have great reception, as do the little cheap radios in our house, so it's not a matter of being too far from radio stations. All the stations I have come in scratchy, and if I try to seek for a station, it won't pick up any.
Do these cars have bad antennas, or is there likely something else wrong?
